Poem ID time

You have helped me identify poems before. I'm looking to find one about a shopping mall, no more recent than the '90s and probably older. It compared the mall to a cathedral and discussed a family's mall habits.

The family's favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz, which was meaningful. No pejoratives were used, but the poem dripped with contempt. I was taught the poem in a writing class many years ago, and I thought it was much cooler than it probably is, but the poet's skill in conveying his opinion indirectly was impressive. I say "his" because I feel like the poet's first name was Louis or Donald, but looking for that doesn't help.
