Snowflake Online Workout Videos Wanted

I am looking for online workout videos WITHOUT music. I am interested in a little bodyweight/strength training and a little cardio. The silver lining of the pandemic has been LEARNING TO WORKOUT AT HOME, FINALLY!!!! i am very happy about this, but workout music drives me nuts. Help!

As a gym-hater but as someone who has finally come to terms with regular exercise, I have tried lots of things at home. For instance:

-- 305 fitness. Love it! Love the vibe, love the joyous dancing along combined with a toning section. This is great, I just wish I could be my own DJ.

Non-video stuff I have tried:

-- Body by You
-- Darebee
-- Bikini Body with Kayla Itsines

All of the above are good, but I find myself slipping and not following through. I think a video would be better to keep me in line!

I have also had good luck doing jumprope and 7 minute workout routine, but again.... I lose accountability.

Although my main goal is to find good workouts without music, I am open to hearing about workout videos/channels/programs that you rave about, I will give it a try until I get tired of the music selection.

Thanks, hive mind!

None of the fitness blender videos come with music. Good variety of workouts. There are plenty bof free workouts, but for a very modest fee you can get a lot of bonus content.

I learned about Fitness with PJ here on the green about a year ago, and I’ve been hooked. If you sign up for her Patreon you receive a monthly calendar that for me, takes out all the guesswork. Some minimal equipment required (mainly dumbbells). Her doggies appear onscreen sometimes and no music.

Orange Theory put a jillion workout videos on YouTube during the pandemic, and I think you could follow along with the sound muted + your own music playing. Once they get through the introduction part, each of the exercises has a lot of visual cues, and you can see the time counting down until the next movement.

I really like both Caroline Girvan and Heather Robertson. Their videos have music, but there's no verbal instruction, so I usually just put them on mute and play my own music or a podcast or whatever while following along visually. Caroline is more straightforward strength training while Heather has more variety, and I switch back and forth depending on what I'm in the mood for. I always just pick videos kind of at random, but they both do structured programs that you can follow for x number of weeks, which might help with motivation (it at least removes the thinking about it part!).

I love Les Mills for the variety and enthusiastic instructors, they have carried me through for the past two years in my garage lockdown gym. Content warning - cheesy music in abundance.

You might want to check out Glo. It used to be a platform for yoga only, but they've expanded over the past few years and now offer strength training, cardio, Pilates, barre, and meditation in addition to yoga. The instructors are excellent, and there's no music. It's something like $20 USD/month.

I believe that Barre3's workout videos have an alternate audio track without music, so that you can get the instructor talking but not the rest. Because of the way they're recorded, you may still be able to hear a faint echo of the music through the instructor's mic, but it should be mostly absent. (Disclaimer: I used to work for them on their online platform a couple years ago)

None of the Nike Training Club app workouts I do have music (I think some might though). The phone app lets you select your own playlist (only from apple music on an iphone) and will play it under the instructor audio track.

They have a mix of full-on workout videos and workout routines built from a bunch of single exercise video clips. The app is free and has a truly overwhelming number of videos to chose from across most types of workouts, so it's worth a look to see if it works for you.
