My band is playing a festival in downtown Montreal Canada on Saturday 5/21. Some band members need to fly home to Florida on Sunday or Monday. We need help finding the correct kind of (rapid / supervised) covid test in order to get on an international flight. All the options we have found are > $150!!! Is there any way to get this done for cheaper in downtown Montreal?PLEASE HALP (also this is apparently a holiday weekend aaah)

You might try Shopper's, they're doing travel covid tests at a reasonable rate. Call to make an appointment and bring your passport for the paperwork.

Best answer: (Shoppers is called Pharmaprix in Quebec.)

If you can successfully find a rapid test on the shelf in a pharmacy, you can book a video test appointment from this site for about $30 and get the result certificate within an hour. I’ve used it twice and it worked fine. You need to book a day or two in advance but you can see the available appointment times before you buy.
