Block Fox News on Amazon Fire Stick?

I have an Amazon Fire Stick, and when I'm looking for a news feed, it keeps showing me Fox News along with other feeds. I do not want to see Fox or any of the other right-wing channels, but I can't find a way to block them.

Alexa is no help at all; she just offers me more Fox viewing options. The System preferences let me block local Fox channels, but I wouldn't see those anyway. How do I block Fox News?

According to my research you need to run the "News" app and do "configure" inside that app to block channels you don't want to see and highlight those that you do want to see.

Response by poster: That doesn't do it. It allows me to pick favorites, but not to block any of the main channels. I don't see a function labeled "configure," either.

You can't select a channel and hold select for 3 seconds to bring up extra options? I'm just guessing here.

Response by poster: OK, I think I've got it. I had to:
* Scroll over to the Control gear icon.
* Click Live TV
* Click Manage Channels

That opens a menu of apps like discovery+, Freevee, Pluto TV, etc.

* Open each of those apps, and search for a channel you don't want
* Click the channel, then press the Play/Pause button (the one with a right-facing triangle and two vertical lines, like on a DVD player).

That hides the channel from the listing.

* Repeat for all the channels you don't want to see.

Some of the Fox stations are in Tubi, some are in the Fire TV News app, some are elsewhere. Newsmax is in a couple different places, too. I hope the hiding is persistent.
