Online support spaces for partners of people with ADHD

I'm looking for good online sources of support (Facebook groups, message boards, subreddits, etc.) for partners of people who have moderate to severe ADHD. Have you found any such spaces that are useful to you? Secondarily interested in books or articles on the same topic.

Best answer: Came to suggest Gina Pera's support group mentioned above. Gina's communication style can be rather abrupt or curt, but the space is grounded in proper knowledge and guidance.

Also try the ADHD_Partners subreddit. There's another subreddit of a similar title without the underscore. Can't vouch for the quality of that one. The one mentioned above tries to approach it with appropriate education/boundaries (avoiding parent/child dynamic, not moralizing symptoms but not letting the ADHD be an excuse to not take responsibility for self-management) but still has space for the venting that is generally necessary to not go insane.

(Before anyone gets salty with me, I say that as a person with ADHD with a partner with ADHD; we can be horrible partners in spite of our best efforts and blowing off steam as part of your coping strategy is reasonable.)

I would personally avoid the boards at the Melissa Orlov site. Lots of very bitter, resentful people venting with little educational value and it will interfere with learning to identify symptoms behind behavior rather than character flaws. Lots of moralizing ADHD in that space.

Not to hijack, but I'd be interested in the same thing for parents of teens with ADHD.

How to ADHD has an active community for partners and parents on their discord server. I think you have to subscribe on Patreon to get into the discord.
