Where can I get samphire (a.k.a. sea beans) in NYC?

Best answer: You might check Italian markets for paccasassi or "sea fennel", which is a type of samphire that grows in the Adriatic. It would be in a jar, either pickled or packed in olive oil.

Best answer: Eataly often has it fresh.

Response by poster: Thanks all! I'll check Eataly and hopefully end up with a "samphire two ways" score.
