Replacement for outline.com

outline.com is dead. I've tried archive.today and the Wayback machine, but they are not as user-friendly (for me at least). What else is out there?
Features I'm looking for/what I liked about outline.com:
- no animated ads (no ads at all ideally)
- consistent (same black font on white background, regardless of source. This also made for quick load-times)
- width of text adjust to width of browser window

Could you describe outline.com, for those unfamiliar?

Outline.com was a way to bypass paywalls.

Response by poster: Sorry, that would have been helpful. It didn't just get around (some) pay walls, but it removed all the ads and distractions. I have trouble focusing, and auto-play video ads and animated ads are SUPER distracting.
It also removed color/background and font styling, making it easier and more visually-appealing to read (at least for me).

Response by poster: Oh, I should also mention that I do a lot of my internet-reading on a work computer, which has Chrome and Edge, and I can't install anything. And 12-ft ladder link is blocked here for some reason.

I seriously doubt either of these will be what you're hoping for, but just in case:
- I use the Unpaywall Firefox extension
- and I use the Mercury Reader extension in the Brave browser

Best answer: Have you tried the browser's built in "Reader Mode"?

Response by poster: Well shoot, I didn't think we had access to Reader Mode, but indeed we do, it was just buried under a bunch of settings. The 12-ft ladder option is great on my home computer too! Thanks all!
