Spanish-language film: woman with automatic house?

I know it's a longshot, but in case any of this rings a bell: I'm trying to help someone identify a movie they saw "many years ago" on TV. Spanish-language, a woman who lives in a semi-automated home. All the details I have so far are below.

The only info I have so far from the seeker is this:

"I watched a spanish-language movie many years ago on television. I believe it was about a woman who lived in a semi-automated home. I recall that pieces of the set moved about. I think she was supposed to be some kind of scientist? Maybe a la Nutty Professor. It seemed to be a 60s-70s era film. A male character became pregnant at one point. And I think she may have stolen money from a beggar in a comedic fashion at one point."

I was hoping that a pregnant male character, being very distinctive, would help with my chances of finding this movie just through googling, but no luck yet. Of course, I don't always hit on the right combination of terms.

Any thoughts would be welcome!

There's a UK radio show that has a WTF (what's that film) feature if you write in. It's BBC 5's Kermode + Mayo show.

I was going to suggest the Kermode and Mayo WTF too. You can email your question to mayo@bbc.co.uk The show has a podcast if you don't catch the live broadcast to see if they've answered your question

The first film that came to my mind, because it features an automated house, a scientist, a woman, and a pregnancy, was Demon Seed (1977). But it's not Spanish Language.

Any chance it was a Spanish-dubbed version of The Glass Bottom Boat, with Doris Day? There is an elaborate automated kitchen scene, and she works for NASA. There is a pregnant-male plot in another Doris Day movie, Lover Come Back; maybe it was a double feature?

Response by poster: Oh wow, I didn't know about the Kermode and Mayo show--that's a great resource!

I rummaged through books about Spanish, Mexican, Central American, and South American cinema, and was coming up empty, until I finally was able to ask a colleague of mine who has seen more films than I've had hot dinners. He suggested one that seems very likely--"El Premio Nobel del Amor", 1972.

Its IMDb record doesn't have a plot summary or any helpful details, but it's on YouTube (no English subtitles), so I took a look--there are scenes of the woman's automatic house moving parts of the set when she wakes up (like here around 0:12:06), and there's a scene here at about 1:08:00 where she steals money from a supposedly-blind beggar. I can't tell about the male pregnancy, but I didn't watch it straight through.

I haven't heard back from the person asking the question, but I'll definitely report when I do, for the sake of closure.

Response by poster: ...I never did hear back from the person who asked the question. Very disappointing! But I feel absolutely sure this was the answer, so I'm going to have content myself with that.
