Looking for Contractor-ware, Mac preferred or possibly web-based

I'm doing a little contracting and am wondering if there is a lightweight turnkey solution for creating/logging contracts, tracking work, and generating invoices. Obviously this is doable through a mix of tools but I'm wondering if there are good packages already out there.

Harvest is flexible, easy to use, and relatively inexpensive.

Seconding Harvest, which is free for some small number of clients, so worth trying it out. I’ve been using the free version for years since I just have a single client.

My company, RooferPro Software, has a software program designed to enable roofing contractors to quickly do aerial roof measurements and create proposals. We are often asked what accounting programs RooferPro is compatible with for invoicing. We recommend QuickBooks. But if someone is looking for a less expensive solution , FreshBooks is a good choice.
