Movie or TV show about AI Box experiment (the AI escapes)

I remember a movie or TV show about an AI box experiment. The AI escaped by flashing a light at a tiny portion of a laptop screen or something that was inadvertently brought into its view.

It is not Ex Machina, which comes up when you look for an AI Box movie. This is an AI that is just a computer program, not a robot.

I don't think it is Transcendence either. Maybe it was an episode of Black Mirror or something like that? Or maybe just some thing I dreamed. If anyone knows what the heck I'm talking about, I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Best answer: According to this page its the "opening chapter of "Robopocalype" by Daniel H. Wilson.":

"The childlike voice takes on a flat, dead quality. It speaks quickly and without emotion. “Your emergency stop will not work. I have disabled it.” “What? What about the cage?”
“The Faraday cage has been compromised. You allowed me to project my voice and image through the cage and into your room. I sent infrared commands through the computer monitor to a receiver on your side. You happened to bring your portable computer today. You left it open and facing me. I used it to speak to the facility. I commanded it to free me.”

Response by poster: That is probably it! I remember it being something I watched but, you know, memory.

Best answer: Seconding "Robopocalype". Although I didn't remember the name of the book till I read it in Captain_Science's response I immediately thought of the flashing light being from a book.

For video...this story is pretty well known and is about an AI and some researchers....though is more on the fun side of things.

Note: "Robopocalype" is a typo. The correct spelling is "Robopocalypse".
