Historical WHOIS lookup?

Looking for a free historical WHOIS domain lookup?

Trying to find WHOIS data for all previous owners of a domain (a WHOWAS lookup?).

Whois.sc offers this historical service, but it charges. Any free sites out there?

Eh, no comments. I guess the info you're after isn't in Netcraft?

Hm, thank you Holloway, but sadly Netcraft doesn't seem to have it.

Here's the whois.sc historical lookup page for an idea of what I'm hoping to find (sans fee of course).

Here's a free one. It only updates quarterly, though. Cheers.
