How much Kaopectate do I give my dog?

My dog weighs 15 pounds and has bad diarrhea, the vet said to give him Kaopectate for two days he has had it previously with no problems and it's worked well, unfortunately, thinking we had the information written down we never checked the dosage with the vet and our vet is now closed for the weekend. The Internet has everything from 7.5ml a day over 4 doses to 22ml per dose 8 times a day as options.

I'm worried I'm going to give too little to do any good as he is prone to HGI I need to stop this fast, or too much and the poor guy will never poop again. I am hoping there are vets or vet techs out there, or just someone that has had to use Kaopectate on their dog and wrote the dose per pound and how often down that can help a poor Rat Terrier and the Terriers owners carpets out?

Merck Veterinary Manual lists a dosage of 1-2 mL/kg given 4 times a day. For your cutie’s weight of 15 lbs, that would be 6.8 to 13.6 mL.
