Can you recommend a credit union in Providence, RI?

A couple of friends recently moved to Providence, RI, and are looking for credit union recommendations. They've googled, of course, but would love to hear people's opinions. No particular special needs other than wanting to transfer a credit card balance to a card that the CU offers. Thanks!

We loooove Navigant: https://www.navigantcu.org

They are all over the state, including around Providence (if not in the heart of it: see map).

They let my kids have accounts, and then a real credit card. Their rates are pretty good: we have a HELOC there that we've never needed, but it was good to know it was available.

They give away suckers to kids and dog treats to dogs at the drive-through. They sponsor stuff, because they know their community is their customers.

They're good people.

I see that I am the only response. In case it makes you feel better about my suggestion, Navigant's page of press releases has some less-subjective evidence that they're a good choice:

There is at least one credit union in state (I am thinking of Navy Fed) that has restricted access (in that case to DoD employees). Depending what they are in RI for, they may qualify for a credit union that has a restricted population, which would be worth comparing.

And we have been with Navy Fed for years and have been happy with it, though it isn't our primary bank.
