Rice rice baby

It's my partner's birthday soon and he asked for a rice cooker. What other rice themed things can I get to go with it?
So far I've got: a bag of rice itself, sake, Interview with the Vampire and a poster of a cat gazing over a rice field. I feel like there must be lots more stuff out there which celebrates the joy of rice or is amusingly related to the word rice via bad puns.
I'm looking for both actual stuff to buy (I'm in the UK) and recommendations for rice-related songs, videos, history, films etc. He doesn't have any interest in cookery books or kitcheny gadgets alas.

Different grains! I like rice, but really my rice maker is for quick-cook barley.

A sauce cookbook and/or some sauces.
Frozen quorn/meat substitute/fried tofu chunks (to go with the sauces) (or some animal products if you prefer).
Do you know what he wants to do with the rice? Ingredients for that.

Best answer: Specialty rice is a very much a thing. Get different types!! Carolina gold is, shockingly dope.

You can make rice noodles with rice and a small amount of tapioca as the "sticky glue" that allow the result to keep its shape. So it wouldn't hurt to give a pasta machine... or a recipe book with the rice noodle recipe on the top card if someone already gave them a pasta machine.

You might get rice bowls. Handy for both eating rice and anything else in a small portion.
