Help me buy this EXACT fork.

There is only one fork that we own that my wife likes. I would like to buy a set of cutlery matching it. This may not be possible. Can you find this exact fork and a place I can buy it.

Here are some pictures of the fork.

The text on it says "16/0 Stainless Steel Elia"

The only other identifying feature I can offer is that it *might* have been accidentally pinched from the Cafe in Kew Gardens.

This is close but not exact but Replacements.com is going to be a good place to start. You can send them pictures of your items and they will match them and tell you what the pattern is and whether they have any. You can use that information to inform your search for other places to buy them, too.

I can tell you that 16/0 refers to the grade, if it helps.

Try calling the cafe up and asking. Tell them your wife might have pinched the fork and is in love with it and you need help.

This looks very similar to my preferred brand of cutlery, made by Viners.

This link is the one I have, looks like your wife likes a slightly different brand called Elia which has a website at this link .

It looks like the 'rattail' style to me, but I can't find a picture of the back to confirm.

It also looks more like 18/0 to me than 16/0. This catering supplier sells 18/0 rattail cutlery, although not Elia brand.

If you can’t get that exact make, the generic term for that style of handle is “baguette.” This is what I have as well and searched high and low before I found the exact right set. It makes me happy at every meal. Good luck!

agreeing with everyone that Rattaill by Elia looks like the right line but i do think you have an older piece because the 16/0 distinction indicates that your fork is 16% chromium and 0% nickel, and as noted the current Rattail by Elia lineup appears to have 18% chromium.

on more preview: your image does appear to say 18/0

You're looking for the Elia Rattail line if you want an exact replacement. These are made in UK, so you should be able to find stockists by contacting the company. I see it's at Pattersons for what looks like a reasonable price.

Oops, when I read Kew Gardens, I thought you meant the one in Queens...

I have a random spoon with a very similar design on both front and back. I like it because its more heavyweight than our regular spoons. See it here. The printing on the back says "Trenton Stainless Steel Japan".

I have these forks and your wife is 100% correct that they are the best. Unhelpfully I don't recall where I got them.

However I don't think it (my set at least) is the Elia Rattail. The knife on those looks unpleasantly clunky.

I strongly suspect mine would have been an Ikea purchase - they have some similar currently in stock.

Next also have some which are less shiny than yours but have the right fishtail end.

Finally, Heals have a set which has a nice smooth knife hilt but are definitely on the pricey end of "I love you and want you to have excellent cutlery".

Concur it's Elias Rattail. The problem is I can't tell from the proportion whether it's table fork or dessert fork.
