Bankruptcy under the new rules

Has anyone had any experience declaring bankruptcy (either 13 or 7) under the new rules?

I know what the rules are, just not how they've actually worked out in real life (particularly the set allowances for expenses in 13). So far this is just a possibility, but hearing personal experience may he helpful in making a decision.

If you don't get an answer here, may I humbly suggest consulting a tax attorney with your question? We did, and we are ever so glad.

I suspect you're going to have difficulty finding personal experiences. The rules are pretty new, and it can be a lengthy process.
