Response by poster: OK.. I've thought of the Blues Brothers! 2 Little Blues Brothers! Hilarious! Any ideas where I could get the stuff that would fit them?

Other ideas are still very much welcome!

Thanks!

My son (14) went to an 80s theme party recently dressed in Miami Vice style. It was a hit. Other successful styles were influenced by Boy George and Cindy Lauper. Also, Ramones clones.

Amended suggestions:

Zombies from Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'
Bill Buckner in a Red Sox uniform; a baseball
George Bush; Brocolli Spear.

I second the Rubik's Cube idea (above).

Try your local Salvation Army store for Blues Brothers stuff. Lots of little boys' first communion suits end up on the racks there!
