quickpayroll won't update, profoundly blows

I can't get Quickpayroll to download an update.

I've done the necessary exceptions on my firewall and virus protections. I can't make up my paycheck. Ack.
Secondarily, once I get this month's payroll done, I'd like to get a refund from Intuit and never use their services again. Anyone know:
1. How I can get my downloads.
2. How to cut off my quickpayroll account.
3. A good, really simple payroll service.

Never used Quickpayroll, but, depending on the size of your company, you might be interested in Paychex. They do a lot of small-business's paychecks, they're not too expensive, and the founder of the company gives a lot to charitable causes.
