Great Couch Co-op Games for PS4

I'm looking for some great two-player games for PS4. Criteria inside.

I'm a video game novice, so I want something that doesn't require great skill right away. I don't want shooting games. My favorite video game is Psychonauts. We're enjoying playing Unravel Two right now. I don't love the Lego games because they seem too aimless.

I also liked Psychonauts and had a lot of fun with Ratchet & Clank. It wasn't 2-player per se IIRC but the non-controller can still help a lot with puzzles, switch off for challenges, etc.

Unravel 1 is better than 2 if you haven't already played it.

Untitled Goose Game is updating to have co-op tomorrow and it's for sure going to be amazing.

We have been playing A Way Out together during the pandemic and finding it to be a nice mix of storytelling and puzzling along with occasional actiony things that require nothing more than lots of button pushing.

Best answer: Try Pode for ps4. A gentle and beautiful co-op game that's just solving puzzles.

Ibb & Obb is also a nice little couch co-op that is available on the PS network.

And of course you could look into the Trine series...

Seconding Lovers in a Dangerous Space time.

Seconding Overcooked but only if you're ok with stress and chaos.

Oh also I play games like The Witness and Baba Is You with my partners a lot. They aren't active co-op but we usually puzzle solve together and hand off the controller so that the other person can try something, or take notes. It's not a 'real' co-op experience but the 3 of us with our notebooks of little dot diagrams solving The Witness together was fun.

Don’t Starve Together is fun, but also stressful in the exact same way as Overcooked.
