What is this Norwegian children's song about waffle irons?

When I was a kid, I knew a Norwegian girl who shared a song her mother sang to her. The only bit I remember is a part about a heart being like a waffle iron. She explained that the Norwegian words for "heart" and "waffle iron" sound similar. Any ideas what this is?

In Norwegian, the words appear to be "hjerte" for heart and "vafflejern" for waffle iron, so they do sound similar! I don't know the song, but maybe that'll help someone else find it!

Is it really the words that are similar? Traditional Norwegian waffles are literally made of hearts.

Vafflehjerte would mean waffle heart, so the song could have used that phrase?

My Norwegian partner can't remember a song like this but agrees that range is probably right here about the shape.

There was a 2011 Norwegian tv show for kids called Vafflehjarte It definitely features waffles, maybe the theme song from the show?

My Norwegian friend suggests this

I do not know what it means, of course.

Response by poster: This would have been between 1999 and 2002, and the song was one that her mother knew. She was specific about it containing a line about "a heart is like a waffle iron".

Thanks for the suggestions so far!
