Ordering dietary supplements for Autists

International ordering via a US website, technical problems ordering supplements for an Autistic child. Should I give up? Can you recommend alternatives?

My sister in Eire has been advised to supplement her Autistic daughter's diet with a series of products from Kirkman Laboratories in Oregan, USA. She's asked me to do the order as the site is poorly designed and very confusing. I found the products I want, put in my CC details and the shipping address (Ireland Eire) billing address (UK) but no luck. Each time you submit the page it re-sets the addresses to USA and say "You haven't entered a State" There is information on this page advising international customers that they will have to pay shipping tax, so they seem to be able to process international orders. I've had this exact problem before on a number of US websites when looking at other products so I gave up and bought elsewhere

Attempts to contact them by e-mail fail as their e-mail goes to IM and I'm not set up for that. Phoning them is a series of commands which then leads to "leave a message"

Can anyone recommend other good suppliers of dietary supplements that deliver to Europe? Bonus points if you know why the website does that and can give me a way around it!!

Wilder, do you mean this Kirkman?

They do have a shipping information page but I see that they also link to a European supplier of their products, Nutricentre - you're probably better off trying to order there.

Also, if you add a comment here detailing which products your sister needs to buy for your niece, I'm betting that someone will be able to provide more information and possibly alternative supplier(s). Good luck!

Best answer: The search engine on the Nutricentre site (top left sidebar) works well - here are 8 pages of Kirkman Labs products.

There's also a fairly clear How to Shop guide. Let us know if you have any problems.

Response by poster: Thanks Ceri richard. I was able to find everything but the Pro-biotic supplement on the UK site. Again had to get their webteam onto it as it doesn't allow a different delivery address to the billing address! Honestly not my day!

This little girl 3yr o will not tolerate pills and capsules and is lactose intolerant so I'm trying to source a pro-biotic supplement, no dairy, hypoallergenic and somehow liquid, which given the processes involved seems a tall order. Even powder format would do, so if anyone has any ideas.... Thanks again, a real help!!
