Multiple file download for Slack?

We've started using Slack at work and sometimes co-workers upload a lot of images, which I need to download. There doesn't seem to be a way to download all the images at once, so I have to laboriously download them one at a time. Is there a way to download multiples files at once in Slack?

I just checked with a friend that works in our customer support team and unfortunately, no, there isn't a way to "download all" and select a bunch at once. You have to do it one at a time by clicking the download button.

On the plus side, you can designate a separate directory for downloads, maybe like a /slack-downloads folder so they're all in one place instead of scattered throughout your main hard drive's downloads folder.

Your coworkers could potentially upload the images all together in a zip archive.

The slack photo preview is very good. You could leave them there and save links to posts? If your team is paid/archiving.

Best answer: Bummer that Slack can't do this, we've agreed that can email me the images.

And thanks for looking/inquiring Matt, good to see ya!

You can use a program like ODrive to sync the images to your local machine.
