Cheap comfortable rural accomodation in England?
March 18, 2006 2:00 AM   RSS feed for this thread Subscribe

I'm trying to find comfortable accommodation for an all male party of 10-12 men (it's a stag do) somewhere in England. It should preferably be self contained (i.e. not shared with any other parties), preferably rural, comfortable, and not expensive (no more than around £50/head/night).

Oh yes, it should also be near a karting track (or some other fun driving related activity). And obviously it must allow all male parties (which is currently the biggest sticking point it seems). This seems to be an impossible task that I (the best man) have been set by the groom, but you never know, someone in the Metafilter universe may know somewhere.

Dunno about carting but my friend Ned's bunk barn might be a go-er: new building's farm. It's bunk beds but it's in a glorious setting and it's really cheap.

English Country Cottages - I've used them before and they were great.

handee, that Bunk Barn looks perfect to me, I'll try and persuade the groom.
