TV show about hairdressing

Are there shows that are strictly about hairdressing on TV ?

Me and my hairdresser friend, we want to sit back, eat, and talk about her customers as we watch a hairdressing tv show.

The show can be tacky or hip, it doesn't matter.

Blow Out on Bravo is exactly what you seek.

There was a recent English reality show called Risking It All that had one episode about two people setting up their own salon. The guy was as mad as a cut snake. Great viewing.

The main character in the, none blacker, comedy NightyNight is the owner of a beauty salon.

There is a show on Manhattan Neighborhood Network (public access) that is just a woman doing various kinds of weaves on african american hair. As a white girl, I find it one of the most fascinating shows I've ever seen. I don't know it's name, I just call it The Weave Show.

Astoundingly, there was a point in 1990 when there two sitcoms set in black hair salons airing simultaneously. Sugar and Spice might have been okay, but New Attitude was far superior, naturally, because it featured Morris Day.

Not a long running show, but there was a hairdressing episode of Making it Big.

I think you might be able to get Cutting It on DVD now...

I wouldn't say it's all about hairdressing, though, being that it is a soap opera.

UPN has a show called Cuts - although it looks like a typical sitcom that just happens to be set in a salon/barbershop.

There was a Channel 4 (UK) show called Desmond's, set in a black barber's shop.

There are, of course, also the films Barber Shop and Barber Shop 2.

Not too sure how you'd find all three examples relevant to hairdressing, but as a metaphor for "all life goes through a hairdresser" (except presumably bald people) it comes in handy.
