Looking for the name of an Indian musician.

I just heard a great track on the radio, it was an Indian pop piece, of the sort of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan style. The band or artist went by the name of `fundamental *something*'. The announcer mentioned that he had in some way worked with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, but I couldn't hear it properly. Any ideas? I'd love to find more of this work.

Best answer: Could it be Fun^Da^Mental, the British band who've remixed Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (who, incidentally, is not Indian - he's Pakistani) and recorded with his nephews?

Best answer: Check out Nation Records here. Lots of stuff you'll dig, including FunDaMental and Asian Dub Foundation.

If you like remixed Nusrat Fateh Ali, you'll most definitely like Brook's Qawwali Party. Bunch of guys in NewYork who play NFA numbers using horns, guitars, drums and other western instruments. No vocals. I especially like their Mast-Mast and Allahu-Allahu. Check out their music.
