How do I set up recurring messages in Discord

I'd like to set Discord up to send messages at a preset time every week. Unfortunately, the MEE6 bot I use doesn't seem to have this capacity. Is there an easy solution for a non-programmer (I could edit some JavaScript, but that's about all)?

Like many of us I am taking a crash course in running D&D online thanks to the Current Situation. Fortunately, as the organized play coordinator for my Friendly Local Game Store, I had already set up a Discord server, and we're doing well hosting three or four games a week with Discord as the voice channel and Roll20 as the virtual tabletop.

In wrangling the organized play, though, I find myself sending repetitive messages -- pleas for DMs; reminders for DMs to set up their Roll20 games and post links; reminders for players to join the Roll20 games and set up their characters in advance; reminders for the players to join the chat and voice channels in Discord on game nights, etc. (which is challenging when I'm running a game myself and am also juggling communication with my players). The ability to send messages at preset times would be helpful indeed, thanks!

Best answer: I thought for sure this was built in but I guess I was thinking of Slack.

I’ve had good luck with Zapier for other stuff, and this zap looks promising.

Response by poster: That zap looks like it schedules a daily message. Maybe I can adapt it for a weekly one. Any other suggestions?

Response by poster: It turns out one can schedule it for weekly messages, but only one.

I hope I can create another for different days of the week. Thanks for the suggestion!
