Good places to eat near the British Library

Any recommendations for places to eat near(ish) the British Library this Saturday late afternoon/early evening?
I am meeting up with a friend at the British Library on Saturday afternoon. I would like to find somewhere to eat in the late afternoon or early evening that is not too busy (though given the current situation I am not sure how busy things are in London). We are fairly relaxed about type of food and price (within reason).

I liked La Porchetta Pollo, right next to Foyle's Books.
google maps link.
I ate there a few times. Straightforward Italian food. The downstairs lacks charm.

Govinda's restaurant is just off Oxford Street very close to Tottenham Ct Rd Station. Indian canteen fare. Nice atmosphere.
Check it out.

Best answer: If you're up for Ethiopian food, there's Addis on Caledonian Road (just past King's Cross). We've eaten there a couple of times, and it's always been great.

Best answer: There are lots of chains around there, particularly as you walk past Kings Cross. In terms of convenience you can't beat the Pizza Express just opposite the BL!
When I used to work near there we loved this teeny little Thai place, Paolina's, on Kings Cross road.
Another classic is Chop Chop Noodle Bar, directly opposite Kings Cross underground.
Neither are fancy but the food is great and they're not too far off from the BL.

Best answer: Mai Sushi on Chalton St is very good; it's always been busy when I've been, but I don't imagine anything is very busy at the moment!
If you feel like spending less, and/or are feeling vegetarian, head to Drummond St (just past Euston and all the HS2 works) and stop at the dosa place that looks most promising. My favourite is Diwana.

Response by poster: Thanks for the recommendations. We ended up eating at Addis. I enjoyed it but I am not sure my friend was as keen.
