Where to find sidewall registers that stick out?

I'm replacing the baseboard molding in my 1950's house. It has sidewall heating registers like this. Where can I buy new ones?

The current registers look like they've been through a war (did the previous homeowner enjoy kicking them??) and I want to replace them, but the big box stores do not seem to have this style, preferring instead flush-mounted or very low profile sidewall registers that will look weird next to my new 1/2 inch baseboards. Where can I get replacement registers in the same style?

Best answer: The phrase you're looking for is a baseboard register with a "margin turnback". For some examples, search for that phrase in Hart & Cooley's catalog. As to where to buy, either try your local HVAC supply house/distributor or the equivalent online like SupplyHouse.com. You might try taking one of your existing registers to a local HVAC supply house to see if they can get you equivalent replacements.

Best answer: Was going to suggest SupplyHouse, too. Looks like they might have what you’re looking for.
