Where can I submit folk horror / dark modern fairy tale short stories?

Best answer: The Dark, Daily SF (link goes to an example modern/dark kind of story, but they have a lot of fairy tale-ish content too), Every Day Fiction, Hello Horror, and Fairy Tale Review leap to mind.

Best answer: There are a number of horror and horror-adjacent fiction podcasts out there, my friends have put a few stories in to Pseudopod and others. Some have pretty large listenerships! Though the reading of the story may not be to your liking.

If your stories are of the faerie variety (or faerie-adjacent), you could try Enchanted Living Magazine. It's a current favorite escapism read of mine.
