Trying to find a cookbook for purchase online

Please help me find a copy of this cookbook. My amazon and google-fu fail me on this one.

It's called "Kitchen Comforts: Recipes to Feed Body and Soul" by Gay T. Boassy. ISBN: 1-897115-07-5 and the publisher is Simple Dream Publishing. I've been tasked with finding copies for purchase and it doesn't seem I can find them anywhere. Any help is appreciated!

Are you absolutely positive that it's not this book?

Kitchen Komforts: Fabulous Comfort Food Recipes and Inspiring Short Stories to Nourish the Body and Soul
(ISBN: 1581823827)
by Lulu Roman

I had to ask because the names are so similar. Otherwise... I'm coming up empty...

Response by poster: No, I actually have the book in front of me, but my boss wants a copy so I thought I'd test the knowledge of the ask metafilter hivemind.

Wow, you have the book in front of you and it's *not* the Lulu Roman book? What year was it published? There are other Gay T. Boassy books at Bookfinder.com, biblio.com, alibris.com, etc., but no results for "Kithcen Comforts" or that ISBN at all. At this point, your best bet is probably using the contact info for the publisher and ordering directly from them. If it's not there, this page lists a phone number in Canada:
Simple Dream Publishing (514) 939-1873

Huh. I searched the Library of Congress for that ISBN and nothing came up. I also searched there for all books by that author, Boassy, and no recipe books came up.

I think I found a phone number for Simple Dream Publishing, though: 514-939-1873 (Canada). Give 'em a ring?

On preview, jinx.

I did find this, indicating that the book does, apparently, exist, though.

I found it in a high school library, though I know that's no help. Here's kind of a link to the page I found.

I'm going to keep looking. That page isn't really working as well as I'd like.

Damn preview!

I found the author by doing a Zaba Search. If you can't rouse the people at Simple Dream, you could always look her up and call her directly.

Also, that ISBN appears to come from South Africa or Zimbabwe, not Canada.

Try calling this shop. I'm sure you'll get lots of good background from this thread but I think this one might be beyond the internet.

Bonnie Slotnick Cookbooks of New York. I'm guessing this has a kids focus and she specializes in kids cookbooks among other things.

Alternately, per Gator, sneak into the Liberty Elementary library and steal their copy. No, but seriously, that's bad karma nobody wants.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the great information. I have already emailed the publishers so maybe I'll here from them. The strange thing is that this book is not old at all, printed just last year. And as a couple people have noted, a google search shows one lone library with a copy of it. Strange....Thanks to all for your searching though!
