Cork to Santander Ferry on foot

I would like to take the ferry from Cork, Ireland to Santander, Spain in February on foot. They do not allow passengers without vehicles. Is there a way to do this? A bus that I haven't been able to find or maybe a casual carpool or other way? If I could rent a car and dump it in Santander or Bilboa, I may be interested, but I would prefer not to.

Best answer: Casual carpool would seem to be the best way. Maybe advertise on local Craigslist-type bulletin boards or Facebook groups? (Their other ferries allow foot passengers, but they say that the boat used for this route can't accommodate them. Strange.)

Best answer: Post on r/Cork and r/Ireland would be your best bet. We don't really have a Craigslist equivalent.

Response by poster: I think that they don't have a proper way for non-vehicles to disembark in Santander because most of the other ferries allow foot traffic.
Thanks!
