Help me set up my clock - in Chinese?

I got this new clock from amazon which states: "2 Display mode: it can have a fixed display with time, humidity and temperature or it can alternatively switch between time, date, humidity and temperature in turn." Mine keeps switching from time to date, but I want it to stay just on the fixed display with time. I can't find any way to do change this in the English version of the instructions (I can only read English), nor in any google results. Perhaps there is something more in the Chinese version? Can anyone read this and see a way??

The Chinese instructions aren't any better than the English version, but this clock that looks identical says to press the "set" button to switch to "dp-2" mode, which just displays the time constantly.

Response by poster: Yes, there is another style that has only 3 buttons and I've seen youtubes showing that it works with the set button. Mine has 4 buttons (adds a "mode" button) and unfortunately the set button doesn't behave like that. Thanks, guess I'll have to return it.

I got this clock as a gift, I love it! However, it’s either tricky or possessed, hard to tell. I have the 4 button one including mode, basically you just follow the directions above with the mode button. Oddly enough, I have also had to try different iterations of the other buttons with the mode set where you want it. Once it does what you want, you won’t have to set it again until you unplug it. If it’s exactly like mine you can add batteries as well to fix that solution.

Response by poster: stormygrey - can you be more specific on what you did? As I read it, the instructions say the mode button can do 3 things, 1) inquiry state (cycles thru values), 2) toggle voice control, and 3) toggle power saving mode (i.e display on/off).

I don’t exactly remember, the directions for the 3 button where ALMOST right but I think one of the buttons was labeled wrong and then I did a little more tweaking. I think you just need to be willing to try options till it works the way you want. Why a calendar display on a clock is it’s default is anyone’s guess but once I got the right combination, it hasn’t needed anything in over a year.

Is this your clock? IDK if the video shows the mode setting that you need, but it might help. I did a reverse Google image search and found another seller selling the same clock here and responding a little more to troubleshooting questions. Maybe they'll be able to tell you how to keep the clock on a fixed setting?
