What should I do in Denver?

I have a day by myself in Denver this week. Where should I drink beer and coffee and eat?

Don't say hiking because I enjoy sitting too much. But I'm going to be in Denver and love breweries and coffee shops. I'll have my books and laptop and want to know the best coffee shops and breweries to go to, and grab some food at the latter. I'd like to stay in one area, which I think would be downtown?

Improper City sounds like it'll be your place.

Best answer: Black Shirt Brewing is not far from downtown and has great food. I've worked remotely there a few times. Union Station is a great place to work and Pig train Coffee is wonderful

My favorite when I visited was the RiNo neighborhood, an industrial area that's been developed into a bustling commercial zone. Lots of breweries, food trucks, and the Denver Central Market was the kind of place I could easily spend an entire day eating, drinking, reading & people watching.
