Books like "The Worry Cure"?

I've found "The Worry Cure" by Robert Leahy to be super useful and effective. Are there other books that provide concrete ways of how to deal with worrying/anxieties?

I found "Feeling Good" a bit too theoretical. I am open to neuroscience-based and mindfulness-based books.

I am already re-reading "The Worry Cure," but welcome other concrete / compassionate books too.

Best answer: Yes! "The Worrywart's Companion" has concrete steps and has been very effective for me. I still have bouts of anxiety, but I now know the steps to take to work it through and can bring it under control so much faster. Highly recommend this book, especially the chapter on flexible thinking.

Best answer: The classic is How to Stop Worrying and Start Living, by Dale Carnegie, but it is very old, now.

Best answer: I like The Happiness Trap as an analog/complement to Worry Cure. If you want more of a workbook approach, check out the Mindfulness and Acceptance Workbook for Anxiety. (And for more resources, see my recent post on ACT.)

Best answer: This may not be what you're looking for, but I liked Exercise for Mood and Anxiety (about physical exercise, not mental exercises).
