What podcasts would my mom like?

[PodcastFilter] I bought my mom a 1 GB Nano for the gym. She loves books-on-tape but I want to subscribe to some fun Podcasts for her too. Suggestions?
My mom is 57. She's okay with technology. She will likely only update her iPod when she needs to charge it... every few days or so, I suppose.
I've put some Oldies on it for some tunes and I'll instruct her on books-on-tape (either borrowing from the library or downloading), but I want to subscribe her to some mom-friendly podcasts.
I've already added the NYT daily podcast and NPR Driveway Moments, but any other ideas?
Here are some of her interests: Michigan, Detroit, books, quilts... err, mom stuff.

There are a few other NPR podcasts that might be worthwhile, including the Story of the Day and my favourite: the Sunday Puzzle.

WAMC is a great public radio station broadcasting in part of upstate New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
WAMC's "The Book Show" and "WAMC's "The Roundtable" (their 2 hour morning show) are both available in itunes podcasts. Just search on "WAMC."
I don't see "51 percent" (a woman related show) listed in itunes, but you can just download the mp3 to her ipod from here, if interested. She might like their health show too.
For that matter, she might like to check out a lot of their stuff! Rock on, Moms! LOL.

Some quilting podcasts:
Annie Smith's Quilting Stash (the first, best, and most substantial)
Alex Anderson's Podcast (ex-hostess of Simply Quilts)
Quiltcast
Longcast, for longarm machine quilters
All available through iTunes.

I second the this american life suggestion, I've got my Dad hooked on it. You have to pay for it if you want to download it to your ipod but it's worth it. ($9.95/month i think).
If she likes science at all you can get Quirks and Quarks through the cbc web site. They often address everyday science issues which can be fun.

I'm just a few years short of your mom's age; I'd recommend you simply make sure she knows how to find podcasts that interest her on her own. You'd likely be surprised what some "mom stuff" really is. I know my son would be.
