Do you know this WWI fighter pilot?

Because there are some librarians and hitorians and such among these parts. Can you identify a sketch of a WWI fighter pilot?

MeFi's own Adam Savage (asavage) just completed a new series where he used famous Peter Jackson's awesome collection of WWI aircraft to stage a dogfight with LASERS...

But that's not the question. In Jackson's restoration endeavors upon taking apart a 100 year old cloth covered wing from a WWI aircraft they found a rolled up piece of paper with a sketch of a pilot.
