Who made these perfect black leggings?

A few years ago, I found perfect PERFECT black, 2x size, thick cotton, heavily elasticated, wide waist leggings that are only just now starting to get a little worn out. The tag has sadly faded and I bought them in a Ross/Marshalls type store in Manhattan so don’t know who made them! Please, please help me find them! I will be eternally grateful!

Ok so a summary of the specs:
- This was 1x or 2x so the brand must make plus sizes
- material is very thick and tight - so heavily elasticated - but feels like soft cotton that doesn’t pill... so there must be a polyester blend in there somewhere.
- seems like they are waist compressing as the waistband is around 15-20cm (amazing for big tummies like mine!)
- I bought a pair in black in the plus size section of, I want to say, Marshall’s in Manhattan or some such store.

Thank you in advance my lovely MeFites!

I highly, highly recommend Amazon's Core 10 leggings -- quality is great, nice and thick fabric, wide waistband, and they absolutely do not pill. I am linking to what they call a capri, but check the inseam and measure yourself -- these come to my ankle. They have several other lengths available.

Is the tag 100% blank? If not, maybe a photo of it would help to puzzle it out.

Does the brand maybe have “Angel” In the name? I had some matching this description that I got at a Ross...

Couldn't say this is it but Lane Bryan'ts Livi workout leggings are like what you describe.
