Hit me up with a bunch of great Bollywood song and dance videos

I’m traveling in India and I think it would be fun to watch/listen to, though I have no idea what is good and don’t want to watch a whole movie, just watch the great song/dance numbers. New stuff, classics, absurd stuff, it’s all game.

Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se. Great staging of a song and dance number on top of a moving train. Classic Bollywood.

You could do far worse than churning through the archives of Chor Bazaar. DJ Anjali & The Incredible Kid have an amazingly widespread show. They do play plenty of Bollywood tracks, but also play plenty of other genres under the wide tent of “music from India.” Some shows have had more Tamil music (pop and traditional), Pakistani tracks...lots of stuff that’s really wide ranging.

They’re also great DJs so each show really fits together aurally.

The other day I was looking for videos to show why the "Prince Ali" song from the live action Aladdin lacked energy and now I want to watch Bajirao Mastani. Malhari Pinga

Khalibali and Ghoomar from Padmaavat

And for something different, Usha Uthup covering Michael Jackson and Señorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Sublime Frequencies also has a couple of great India-centric albums. Bollywood steel guitar is in heavy rotation at our house. Some of the others are pretty dope too.

Badtameez Dil from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

Chaiyya Chaiyya from Dil Se

Mauja Hi Mauja from Jab We Met

Kajra Re from Bunty Aur Babli

Dola Re Dola from Devdas

I think I already rec'd it last time there was a question on this topic, but Choli ke Peeche Kya Hai is an early 90's classic with terrific choreography and double-entendre lyrics.

Malhari from Bajirao Mastani is a relatively recent favorite of mine.
Kar Gayi Chull is very fun.

If you are visiting to Bombay try and watch Gully Boy before going (it's on Amazon Prime).

Mere Gully Mein
