Password protected Wordpress page?

I have a Wordpress site for my company. I want to add a link to the front page that leads to a password protected area for my clients. How do I do that? It does't have to be intense level security (no personal information will be stored on the password protected page), but I do want to hide the product and pricing information on the page from my competitors and do not want it scraped by a search engine. It will only need one password, not a variety of logins and passwords.

Best answer: Unless WordPress has changed this, it's very easy to do and a built-in feature. See this site for details.
