Help me customize our van!

Van customization filter: Looking for someone in Dallas, Texas to customize the inside of a van to secure various real estate items.

I work for a real estate agent in Dallas. We are looking to customize the inside of a van to fit our very specific needs. We need different contraptions inside the van to hold For Sale signs, mallots, other tools, etc. Any tips on where to find someone to do this in the Dallas/Fort Worth?

Earmark Car Audio is, naturally, a car audio place. However, a fair amount of customization goes into that -- building boxes for subwoofers, all the way up to constructing custom speaker enclosures. I've used the Addison location many times for car audio stuff and I can recommend them highly (for car audio).

I'm not sure whether they'd be up for the type of customization you need, but it might be worth a shot.

If you're starting fresh with, say a regular cargo van, it should be a reasonable job for anyone who's experienced with some carpentry skills. As your boss is an agent, he/she likely has connections to some handymen and remodeler/contractor types. Would one of them be interested in doing it?

This http://www.agvan.com/products.htm is the sort of thing that you want. Likely not super cheap, but they've done this sort of thing a million times before. A place like this will understand your needs and be able to put together a really nice solution for you.
