Game of Thrones pre-season 8 recap

Our household is holding off on GoT and preparing to binge-watch the entire season 8 when the last episode finally airs. We'd like to watch a video recap of previous season(s) before doing this, because we've definitely forgotten most of the subplots, character's names, locations, etc. Normally I'd do a search and click on the first few Youtube results, but googling this stuff is a spoiler minefield and we'd like to stay spoiler-free. Help please?

Ideally we'd like to watch a recap of all the seasons so far, but just S7 is also ok.

There was a recap before S8E1 on HBO. It lasted a couple of minutes and covered all the important stuff that matters in Season 8, though it may not be detailed enough for you.

I watched this fairly comprehensive recap of Seasons 1-7. It's pretty basic, but should be enough to jog your memory prior to Season 8.

The narrative can get somewhat grating, but a decent recap nonetheless.

Best answer: I haven’t watched it and it’s almost an hour long but the Screen Junkies Folks released a recap vid about a month ago.

I watched this 17-minute recap of the first 7 seasons just before s8 started. It gave me what I needed. It didn't fully cover all the events, but rather it mainly covered the arcs of characters that were likely to matter in this season, and plots that were still at stake-- the iron throne, of course, the origin of the White Walkers. It spends a bit more time on s7 than prior seasons.

Alt Shift X does absolutely amazing recaps and put together a great one for the lead-in to Season 8.

There are also episode-by-episode recaps for seasons 6 and 7 and a slew of subject deep dive videos.

Fair warning for all, these take book content into consideration.
