Crossword Creation

I’m tutoring an adult ESL student and would like to create crosswords using our weekly vocabulary words.Can anyone personally recommend a FREE site that will help me create and print crossword puzzles?

Here are a few I've used with my students -
Discovery Education Criss Cross - old school interface, but easy to use, prints nicely.
ABCya Crossword maker - from a kids' site, but easy to use. Many other helpful games for language building here too.
ReadWriteThink Crosword Generator - can change complexity to match ability.

I recommend trying a few to see which best suit your needs. Asking your student to create the crossword may be a great language activity too.
