Finding the Evil Carousel

Help me identify a scary movie from my childhood.

I'm pretty sure it's from the early to mid 80s. There's a carousel/merry-go-round that spins backwards and all sorts of bad stuff starts happening. There may have been a ghost train (spectral, not the ride). The one scene that really sticks in my mind involves a kid looking up at the ceiling of the room he's in (he may be in bed looking up) and it's covered in bugs (cockroaches, centipedes, milipedies - all creepy crawly type bugs).

Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983), perhaps?

Someting Wicked. It's tarantulas, and they're all over his bedroom.

That's probably the ONLY scary movie from my childhood - most of them don't scare me much. That one just "clicked" somehow and I get the chills just remembering it.
