Graffitti building

I'm trying to track down a location found in the movie 'Thumbsucker'.

This movie was shot in and around my neck of the woods. There's a location during the montage of the thumbsuckers foray in to sexuality and drugs where the 'bad girl' and he are in this concrete building out in the middle of the forest. It's just your basic concrete building that's been abandoned, is open to the elements and has what looks to be years of graffitti plastered all over it.

Where is this building?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the area, but the iMDb profile for the movie does contain filming locations that might be more of more assistance to other people.

Best answer: Have you contacted the Oregon Film & Video Office? They maintain a database of filming locations in the state and can probably tell you where it is pretty easily.

It's somewhere in Tigard, Banks, Portland or Washington County...

Response by poster: Thanks pep for the pointer to the Film & Video Office. I was hoping for maybe which park in the Portland Metro area this was in so I could take some pictures. My girlfriend works in a photo processing shop and swears she's seen pictures of that exact building come in.

It's been on my mind since I saw the movie a few weekends ago. Great movie, and I love Portland so it was fun seeing the area portrayed like that.

As a side note, anyone drink Widmer Hef outside of the Northwest? It showed up in the first few minutes of the movie and solidified my notion that the location was indeed metro Portland from the opening credits.

It's available in bottles here (Boston area) but it tastes nowhere near as good as a fresh pitcher.

I can still see it - gleaming in the springtime sun up on the deck at Rennie's Landing in Eugene. It's a wonder I got a degree... Sorry.
