Rss Feed for new books?

Is there a way to set up a RSS feed to be notified of new and upcoming books for a certain subject area on Amazon?

I'm reasonably sure that someone could use Amazon's API to create a feed using their web services if that information is available, but you can get a listing of the most popular items in a given category via RSS here.

It's not RSS, but Amazon offers search results by email. I just did a search for "psychology" at amazon, and on the right hand column there is a box that says:

Amazon.com Alerts
Sign up to be e-mailed when new book releases for "psychology" arrive.
