Is it possible to move my tripod website to the new google sites?
January 26, 2019 12:01 PM

If so, what is the simplest method?

I have an old, extensive Tripod/Lycos website which was still working for me until Google recently labeled it as "dangerous". The site is not infected with malware, but apparently the tripod banner and link caused a red flag with Google. I'd like to migrate the site, in full, to the new Google Sites, if possible. Are there any tech savvy webmasters who have answers for me? Much appreciated, in advance!

Cut and paste is probably your only option. Google Sites has no import functionality that I'm aware of and I doubt Tripod has any sore of export capability. I just migrated a site there a couple of weeks but it was just a handful of pages. If you have a lot of pages you can probably find a $10/hr contractor that will do the grunt work for you.
