Do I need to binge season 1 of Jon Glaser Loves Gear before diving into upcoming season 2?

It sounds like season 2 is going to revisit several plotlines from season 1. And the show establishes such bizarre, funny relationships between Jon and his family and co-workers in season 1... I say don't miss it if you're gonna watch season 2.

Absolutely. JGLG is about 2% a show about gear and its purchase/consumption, and about 98% weird, surrealist humor about Glazer and his, um, family. A lot of the jokes will elude you if you start with S2E1.
