Karaoke in Hartford/Windsor CT area?

I'm here from Orlando on a business trip, leaving Friday night, and have a tradition of finding a karaoke bar/night in each new town I visit. I found one, but it's only Friday and Saturday nights which obviously won't do for me. Anybody know of somewhere that offers karaoke during the week? Any MeFites wanna meet up?

Ugh, it's a shame you won't be in town on Saturday. Karaoke at Butterfly in West Hartford is certainly an experience. There's a dude that sings there that is hands down the best Meatloaf impersonator in existence. There's a good article on the Hartford area karaoke scene in the Hartford Advocate here.

Thanks for the link.

There was a sidebar to that article with listings, but a couple of the numbers I tried were disconnected or reassigned. I'm not surprised since the article dates back to 2004. I did find one place, Mad Dawg's, in downtown Hartford on Wednesdays. Do you know if it's any good?

If you have a rental car (and I'm assuming that, in that area, you would), you might be better off trying Springfield or Northampton, Mass. It's only about 30-45 minutes from Windsor.
