Magazines similar to Apartamento and Nest...?

I really like Apartamento Magazine -- and used to really enjoy NEST, before it closed down. What are some similar publications that come out a few times a year and have excellent interviews with artists/designers combined with great photos and yet never seem like they're trying to sell me something? What are your favorite non-selling-shit magazines?

I am specifically NOT looking for magazines like Dwell, Domino or Metropolis, which do seem like they're always trying to pitch something.

I'm interested in art/artists (designers/designs, films/filmmakers), not so much "things".

I haven’t really read it myself, but might Kinfolk be up your alley?

Response by poster: Thanks for the suggestion, ejs. Kinfolk is a fine magazine (I subscribe to it), but not really what I'm looking for in this question. I suppose one of the things that connects Dwell and Domino and Kinfolk is that one browses the magazine and can be done in well under an hour. Apartamento and Nest take hours and hours to get through. Apartamento can run 350+ pages and about half of those are 2-columns of text interviews. With those other mags, one flicks through until something catches their eye and then they read, whereas with the mags I'm talking about, they can be read and enjoyed cover to cover and referred to over the years.

Since as far as I know those are the two greatest occupancy-design publications ever produced, I'll just say I haven't found one. Do you have the Apartamento book? I also have a plan to fill in my Nest collection via Ebay (I own about half the run).

Laterally, you might be interested in Home Cultures and The Art of Eating, the latter of which appears to have demoted its interior concerns to focus only on food, so maybe try to find early issues.
