Who wrote this poem

I remember one stanza that went something like "Some say the South will rise again, But I say "not in my presence."" Alice Walker? Zora Neal Hurston? Maya Angelou? Who wrote this because I can't even find it on Google, thanks.

Could it be one of Natasha Trethewey's poems? That one in particular doesn't ring a bell, though.

Response by poster: Found it. Alice Walker. Surprised no-one here knew it (given the almost instant and legendary abilities of askme, no pressure) , but it gave me a reason to read all her poetry again so that's not a bad thing. Marked as resolved.
